这是英国诗人齐普林的一句诗，诗中的数词经过英文-俄文-中文的三道翻译时，已模糊不可考。不过，数词本身也都是虚指，最终演变成我们现在所看到的

“五千个在哪里，七千个怎么办，十万个为什么”，这句诗也成为贯穿惘闻《十万个为什么》专辑从创作到发行的线索。我们将这句诗拆解成三个部分，分别对应发行过程中的三个活动。

and then from Russian to Chinese. As a result, it is difficult to decipher the original meaning of

the numbers that are in the poem. The numbers in the poem are not meant to represent precise

quantities of specific objects; rather, they carry metaphorical meanings. The band took the

inspiration from this and these specific numbers serve as a central theme that resonates throughout

Wang Wen's album. As you can see above, these metaphorical numbers are divided into three distinct

lines, representing specific activities in the album's production process. They provide a clear

framework, influencing and shaping each activity to contribute to the cohesive artistic vision of

“十万个为什么”是在创作这张专辑之前就定好的名字，结果很多事情都巧合般的一语成谶。专辑在创作之初原本是关于很多或远或近的旧时记忆，但就在正式录音之前，Covid 19爆发了，一切的专辑计划都被打乱了。在我们重新开始对专辑里面的作品做修改的时候，所有关于现时的情绪和思考都不可避免的被带入了进去。但即使在那个困惑的时刻，十万个为什么所想阐述的也是关于对未来的希望。

"100,000 Whys" was a name chosen for the album even before its creation, and it turned out to be oddly prophetic in many ways. Originally, the album was meant to delve into distant and personal memories, but just before we started the official recording, the outbreak of Covid-19 disrupted our plans completely. As we went back to revise the songs, the current emotions and reflections inevitably found their way into the music. Despite the confusion of those times, "100,000 Whys" still carries a message of hope for the future.

这是我们在2020年专辑发行时发明出来的一种最真实直接的宣传方式，直接把惘闻新专辑录音工作微信群群聊分享給大家，灵感来自于疫情期间没有可靠信息来源时，人们自发在微信群里传播突发消息的的手机录屏视频。相较于惘闻以往精致制作的宣发纪录片，welog显得DIY又lofi，但正是这种不加任何修饰的呈现，最符合充满变数的2020年。

sharing the behind-the-scenes recording process with everyone through a WeChat group chat. This idea was

inspired by events that happened during the pandemic. During that time, people started recording their screens

to share information and ensure its accuracy and authenticity. Instead of our usual polished promotional

documentaries, we opted for a more DIY and lo-fi way of doing promotional activities and we called this Welog

(sharing vlogs on our WeChat platform). This unfiltered presentation perfectly captured the unpredictable nature

of the year 2020. It was a straightforward and genuine way to connect with our audience and reflect the essence

of that challenging time.

《十万个为什么》专辑的录音本打算前往圣彼得堡，在疫情冲击下不仅我们无法前往圣彼得堡，连比利时的制作人Wouter也无法出行，所有的计划推倒重构。面对无法预测的疫情进展，不希望delay惘闻的录音计划，乐队又开始着手在大连录音。困境总是会不可预期的出现，但是解决他的方式也会有很多：尝试更DIY的排练室声音采集方式、用最真实直接的微信截屏宣传、和制作人保持远程沟通……在当时的困难中，似乎也找到了新的平衡的趣味性和记录感。

Originally, our plan was to record the album "100,000 Whys" in Saint Petersburg. However, due to the pandemic

and travel restrictions, both ourselves and our producer Wouter from Belgium were unable to make the trip. This

forced us to completely change our plans, and we decided to shift the recording location to Dalian. Despite the

unexpected challenges we faced, we found innovative ways to overcome them. We took a DIY approach to capture the

rehearsal room sounds. In terms of promotion, we engaged with our audience by using WeChat screenshots.

Additionally, we maintained constant communication with the producer, even though we were working remotely. In

spite of the challenges, the band found a new balance that not only brought them a sense of fulfillment but also

allowed them to record the album, capturing and preserving their musical journey.

随着录音进程每日有条不紊地推进，更多有趣地录音周边花絮也通过这种形式毫无保留地被分享出来，收获了不少惊喜呢。看似一切顺利的背后，回忆这张唱片的整个录音计划，也是颇为坎坷。

Throughout the recording process, we made daily progress, and openly shared intriguing behind-the-scenes moments that brought delightful surprises. However, when we reflected on the entire recording plan for this album, beneath the surface of apparent smoothness, we were encountering numerous challenges and obstacles.

惘闻新专录音工作顺利结束，录音师安子老师已经回在北京的家了，回家后还要经过14天隔离。

The recording went well for our new album, and our recording engineer, An Zi, has already returned to his home in Beijing. Upon arrival, he will need to undergo a 14-day quarantine period.

其实早在2019年年底，惘闻新专辑的录制计划就已经启动。自《看不见的城市》专辑开始，我们就习惯先根据音乐然后来想象最适合这张唱片的录音国家或者城市，《看不见的城市》专辑中旋律流露出来的优美感，驱使我们前往了绝美的冰岛，而2020年计划发行的这张新专辑demo音频中散发出来的复古味道，让我们第一时间就锁定了圣彼得堡，这座拥有俄式复古工业感的陌生城市。

Back in late 2019, we had already started planning the recording of our new album. Since the album "Invisible City," it has been our habit to imagine the most suitable recording location based on the music itself. The beautiful melodies in "Invisible City" led us to the breath-taking landscapes of Iceland. Likewise, when we listened to the demo audio of this new album, which had a nostalgic feel, we knew right away that Saint Petersburg would be the perfect choice. It's a city that combines Russian retro and industrial aesthetics in a captivating way.

在2020年1月元旦假期内，我们就联系好了位于圣彼得堡的一处非常有趣的录音棚：约定录音档期、办理工作邀请、申请签证、联系各种有趣的合成器乐器、预订住宅、采购机票……所有工作都已经完成后，却遭遇了突如其来的疫情冲击，不仅我们无法前往圣彼得堡，连两位来自比利时的制作人Wouter也没有办法出行，所有的计划推倒重构。

During the January 2020 New Year holiday, we had everything lined up for an exciting recording studio in Saint Petersburg: we set the recording dates, handled work invitations, applied for visas, reached out to various intriguing synthesizer and instrument vendors, booked accommodations, and bought plane tickets. But then, the pandemic hit unexpectedly. We couldn't travel to Saint Petersburg, and even the two producers from Belgium couldn't make the trip. So, we had to completely change our plans and start from scratch.

Things were still unclear in February, and we knew that going to Russia would be a real hassle.

But we were all still trying to figure out if we could make it happen.

Once we realized that going to Russia was out of the question, trying to get a refund for the international flights turned into a huge headache.

面对无法预测的疫情进展，不希望delay惘闻的录音计划，乐队和我们又开始着手在大连录音的想法：采购设备、协调新的录音师、研究设备、构想宣传方案……

Given the ever-changing circumstances of the pandemic, we were determined not to postpone the recording process and opted to record in Dalian. We made all the necessary preparations, such as obtaining equipment, collaborating with a new recording engineer, exploring various equipment options, and developing our promotional strategies.

Our first recording phase started at Dalian Studio, capturing the drums, bass, and laying down the foundational framework of the songs.

During the time when we were working on the album "0.7," our long-time friend An Jiguo, the recording engineer, assisted the band in DIY recording.

第二阶段转战位于在大连城市音乐馆中的乐队工作室。据乐队成员透露，城市音乐馆是个挺神奇的地方，一整幢楼都是乐器销售、音乐培训和演出场地。录音中使用到的施坦威大钢琴也是音乐馆借来的。

For the second phase, we moved to a studio located in the City Music Hall in Dalian. According to the band members, the City Music Hall is quite a remarkable place, as the entire building is dedicated to instrument sales, music training, and performance venues. The Steinway grand piano used in the recording was also borrowed from the music hall.

"Five Thousand Wheres" was a special online concert that coincided with the release of Wang Wen's new album. It took place in the futuristic circular courtyard of the Aranya Art Center by the seaside, creating a unique and unforgettable experience. This exceptional online concert marked the beginning of Wang Wen's new album journey. The phrase "Five Thousand Wheres" itself is intriguing and serves as the first key to enter the world of their new album. With its remarkable performance setting, specially rearranged playlist of classic songs, meticulous sound production, and beautiful visual scenery, this iconic online concert left a lasting impression on everyone, creating countless unforgettable memories.

“海”是来自大连的惘闻无法逃开的话题，也象征着北方海滨城市独有的静默深邃气质。同样拥有海景的 阿那亚 进入了Space Circle的脑海。拍摄前一个月，导演组就专程来到阿那亚开启了这次的场景选择之旅。

The sea holds a significant place in Wang Wen's identity, as they come from Dalian, a northern coastal city known for its peaceful and profound atmosphere. Aranya, with its sea view, captured the attention of the Space Circle team. A month before the shoot, the production team visited Aranya to explore and select the filming locations for this special journey.

我们在阿那亚看完了所有可以完成拍摄的场景，经过从声音、画面、气质等多方面考虑，最终非常笃定地选择了阿那亚艺术中心。这座由如恩设计完成的巨大建筑，给人一种时间和空间的沉淀感，尤其是伴随着自然光线从巨大建筑的空顶及四周洒进来的时候，那一种自然的力量是无与伦比的震撼。因为这一份自然带来的震撼，我们也确定这场拍摄应该更大程度地完全利用自然光线而非舞台灯光。在合适的场景内做减法，仅用声音和画面来做充分的属于惘闻的音乐传达，这个核心概念就确立下来。

When checking out all the possible shooting locations in Aranya, we carefully considered factors like sound, visuals, and atmosphere. In the end, we were sure about choosing the Aranya Art Center. It's a huge building designed by Neri&Hu that gives off a timeless and spacious vibe. When natural light comes in from the skylight and surrounding areas, it creates an amazing and awe-inspiring effect. This natural beauty inspired us to rely mostly on natural lighting instead of stage lights for the shoot. We wanted to capture the essence of Wang Wen's music by simplifying the settings and focusing on the sound and visuals. That became the core concept of our project.

无人机从现场圆顶空中内飞出，把视线带到海边教堂。我们设计了一段乐队的日常对话作为中场，让大家自然地聊一聊惘闻乐队对于线上直播的看法和关于今天演出的特别曲目的介绍，也让关注惘闻的乐迷从另外一个视角看到惘闻成员间最真实的另一面。对话尾声，谢玉岗讲出了疫情期间音乐带来最真实的感悟。

A drone flew out from the rooftop, capturing footage of the seaside church. During the interlude, we let the band members talk about their views on live streaming and introduce the special songs performed today. This segment was designed to mimic the band members' day-to-day conversations and its purpose was to give the fans a chance to see a more authentic side of the band. At the end of the conversation, Xie Yugang shared his heartfelt reflections on the true impact of music during the pandemic.

“我不知道你们是怎么想的，但这段时间反而让我觉得音乐对我而言变得无比重要，音乐是最后值得拥抱的东西，大家通过音乐在一起抱团取暖，获得能量，得到一点希望，然后这个也是音乐他的魅力，也是做音乐的初始的想法。保持自己的能量，在音乐中获得足够的能量，去迎接明天吧。”

"I don't know how you all feel, but during this period, I have come to realize the immense importance of music in my life. Music is something we should cherish, as it brings us together, provides warmth, energizes us, and offers a glimmer of hope. This is the charm of music and the fundamental idea behind creating music. Let's keep our spirits high and gather enough strength from music to face tomorrow."

The team responsible for the shoot, Geek Shoot Jack, has a longstanding collaboration with Wang Wen and Space Circle. After thorough location scouting and analysis, they not only selected multiple camera angles, including aerial shots, but also achieved seamless coordination in visual style and atmosphere, showcasing a perfect synergy.

从海边而来的惘闻，配合从海景一路推进到演出现场像极了黑胶盘面的空间内部开场；到移动机位在全景当中整体空间气质的把握；到从教堂外推进空间的叙事感以及每一个乐器演奏下画面精准的切换；都是源自我们反复的细节沟通和对惘闻音乐的深度理解而成，精准的背后是团队对每一帧画面的苛求。

The opening scene, as the camera moves from the beach to the concert venue, resembles the inner groove of a vinyl record. The mobile camera captures the overall spatial ambiance in the panoramic view, while the narrative sense is conveyed through the progression of space from outside the church. The precise transitions between each instrument's performance enhance the visual precision. All of these elements are the result of our meticulous attention to detail and deep understanding of Wang Wen's music. Behind this precision lies the team's relentless pursuit of perfection for every frame.

Since we performed our new song at our first online performance, we invited the visual effects team NOFF to join us. In the most intense two minutes of "New Song 1," we added special post-production effects to enhance the element of surprise and visual impact for the viewers. 通向专辑的第二把钥匙《七千里又怎样》是一部讲述惘闻2016年尼泊尔之行的纪录片。选择这个时机发布纪录片也充满了“偶然”的巧合：2015年尼泊尔发生级7.3大地震，一群喜爱惘闻音乐的青年拍摄了赈灾短片，写信给惘闻希望能使用乐队作品作配乐，缘由此生。第二年，惘闻接受了尼泊尔朋友的邀请，前往加德满都参加纪念大地震的公益演出。当我们带着满满的思考和视频素材从尼泊尔回家，却发现在很长时间里都难以找到合适的切入点去诉说这个偶发故事。意义模糊在碎片化的镜头里，谁也没想到四年后会因为另一个“概率事件”才逐渐明晰。

As the Second Key to the Album, "Seven Thousand Hows" is a documentary that recounts Wang Wen's trip to Nepal in

2016. Releasing this documentary in 2020 was an unexpected twist of fate. In 2015, after Nepal was struck by a

powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake, a group of young enthusiasts who admired Wang Wen's music made a short film

to aid the relief efforts. They reached out to Wang Wen, hoping to use the band's music in their project, and

thus a connection was forged. The following year, Wang Wen accepted an invitation from their Nepali friends to

join a charity performance in Kathmandu. When we returned home from Nepal with a trove of thoughts and video

footage, we struggled to find the right narrative thread to tell this serendipitous tale. The true significance

remained veiled within the fragmented clips, and no one could have predicted that it would gradually come into

focus four years later, prompted by yet another unexpected turn of events.

2020年初全球爆发了疫情。因为隔离正好闲下来的吉术斋导演再次翻出搁置许久的尼泊尔素材，特殊时期让他们对素材产生了新思考，终于在全新视角中剪辑成片。这部纪录片的拍摄制作中有太多“偶然”因素，但冥冥之中似乎又有力量在牵引着我们终于在惘闻2020新专发行前夕，将这段四年前的记忆原原本本地呈现出来，为当时特殊的谷底时刻带来一些温暖和希望。

In early 2020, as the pandemic broke out, the Geek Shoot Jack team found themselves with extra time during the

quarantine. It was during this period that they revisited the long-forgotten footage from Wang Wen's trip to

Nepal. The unique circumstances sparked a fresh perspective on the material, leading them to re-edit it from a

new angle and create a complete documentary. The production of this documentary involved several "coincidental"

factors, yet it felt as if there was a guiding force leading them. Just before the release of Wang Wen's new

album in 2020, they made the decision to present this authentic memory from four years ago, bringing a sense of

warmth and hope to that devastating and seemingly hopeless time.

The theme that "Seven Thousand Hows" aims to explore is the clash of cultures, the exchange of ideas, and the

transformations that take place within a short span of three days between two groups of people with starkly

different cultural backgrounds. We will explore the journey to Nepal and the process of creating the documentary

关于四年前的那次尼泊尔之行，感受最深的就是通过音乐带来的人与人之间的连接。我们和尼泊尔的这些朋友因为音乐相识，彼时他们在震后做了一个短片，希望能给身边经受灾难的人们带来一些精神的慰藉和希望，他们通过邮件和乐队联系希望用惘闻的音乐作为短片的配乐，由此我们相识。

Reflecting on our journey to Nepal four years ago, what deeply resonated with us was the connection that music

forged. It was through the medium of music that we encountered these wonderful friends from Nepal. During that

time, they had created a short film in response to the earthquake's aftermath, aiming to bring comfort and hope

to those affected by the disaster. They reached out to us via email, expressing their desire to use Wang Wen's

music as the film's soundtrack, and that's how we came to know each other.

尼泊尔大地震一周年时，Kushal说他们打算办一场公益演出，试探地问惘闻有没有可能也来演，我们没想很多就答应了下来。如果在地球上另一个角落有人喜欢我们的音乐，并觉得它能让他们在灾难和痛苦中得到一丝慰藉和希望，那我们就去做好了，这就是音乐的原本的力量所在吧。

One year after the devastating earthquake in Nepal, Kushal mentioned their plan to organize a charity concert

and tentatively asked if Wang Wen could come and perform. Without much hesitation, we readily agreed. If there

are people in a distant corner of the world who appreciate our music and find solace and hope in it amidst

disaster and pain, then we should embrace the opportunity. That's where the true power of music resides.

Now, as we watch this documentary, all the details of those few days come rushing back to us. The faces of every

Nepali friend we encountered are still vividly present in our minds. We firmly believe that, whether it's us or

our Nepali friends, even if we never have the opportunity to reunite in the future, the memories of those brief

three days spent together will forever remain in our hearts and minds.

尼泊尔之行只有三天，但这三天吸收的「能量」足以让人消化很久：地震后城市衰败的景象、匮乏的物资，和人们乐观的态度形成鲜明对比。“相信未来”这句口号在尼泊尔人心中却有着实在的支撑，因为这是个有信仰的国度。

Although our trip to Nepal lasted merely three days, the impact that it had on us was lasting. We witnessed the

haunting aftermath of the earthquake, the city's decay, and the scarcity of resources, all in sharp contrast to

the unwavering optimism displayed by the Nepali people. The slogan "Believe in the Future" holds genuine

significance in the hearts of these resilient individuals, as faith is an intrinsic part of their nation's

Having grown up in China, we have become accustomed to our surroundings being constantly torn down, shattered,

and rebuilt. In the face of collective goals and rapid development, these occurrences often seem trivial and

easily disregarded. However, "faith" remains unaffected by external changes; it represents an unwavering

commitment to our own beliefs and principles. In a world where everything is in constant flux and our inner

selves lack a stable compass, anxiety becomes the norm.

尼泊尔的文化和价值观都与中国迥异。我们在加德满都看到了灾难之后互助的人们，认真生活、乐观知足的人们，努力跨越语言障碍用心交流的人们……尼泊尔老人站在废墟前的平静眼神也让我们反思，如果是自己面对垮塌的日常，内心世界是否还能这样坚定如初？

The culture and values in Nepal differ greatly from those in China. During our time in Kathmandu, we witnessed

the remarkable unity and mutual support among people in the aftermath of the disaster. We encountered

individuals who lived with sincerity and contentment, as well as those who made genuine efforts to communicate

despite language barriers. The serene gaze of the elderly Nepali standing amidst the ruins prompted us to

reflect on our own inner world. If we were confronted with similar challenges, would our inner selves remain as

四年后的2020，我们也遭遇了一次天灾人祸，曾经看不清的意义在特殊时期好像可以触及了，对于另一个陌生国家和人们的观察，变成了反观自我现状的参照。就像尼泊尔人相信宗教、惘闻相信音乐的力量一样，或许我们每个人都需要寻找一个能让自己在无常人生中保持平静和乐观的「信仰」。

In 2020, four years later, we also faced a combination of natural and man-made disasters. During these

challenging times, the meaning that was once unclear became more apparent. As we observed another unfamiliar

country and its people, it served as a reflection of our own current situation. Just like how the Nepali people

find solace in religion and Wang Wen believes in the power of music, perhaps each of us needs to discover a

personal "faith" that helps us stay calm and optimistic in the unpredictable journey of life.

仅仅因为相信“音乐能够给困难中的人们带来希望”就自费前往尼泊尔去演出，这对于四年前的惘闻来说是个勇敢的决定。正因为惘闻相信音乐的力量，也让作为经纪厂牌的我们也可以开阔眼界、结识新朋友。

Motivated by their belief that "music can bring hope to people in difficult situations," Wang Wen made a brave

decision to self-fund their journey to Nepal and perform. This courageous choice, made four years ago,

exemplified their unwavering faith in the power of music. It not only allowed them to embark on this

transformative journey but also enabled us, as their management agency, to broaden our horizons and establish

在刚来到尼泊尔的时候，我们被很多“固有印象”束缚了。在去孤儿院探望孩子们前，我们曾犹豫不决：担心自己没能带去足够的物资，担心场面会像领导视察，也担心孩子们面对陌生人感到不自在……反而是尼泊尔朋友Dhruba的话让我们打消了疑虑，这些缺乏外界接触的孩子们需要陪伴，多过于物质资助。打开自己和孩子们玩一下午，可能比送很多书包更能让他们快乐。我们之前似乎都没有这么想过。

Upon our arrival in Nepal, we found ourselves held back by preconceived notions. As we prepared to visit the

orphanage, we hesitated, worried about not having enough supplies, concerned that the visit might feel formal

and distant, and anxious about the children feeling uncomfortable with strangers. However, our Nepali friend

Dhruba helped alleviate our concerns. We came to realize that these children, who had limited exposure to the

outside world, desired companionship more than material possessions. Spending an afternoon actively engaging and

playing with them held the potential to bring them greater joy than simply offering material gifts. It was a

fresh perspective that hadn't occurred to us previously.

这些“固有印象”来自于我们的教育、社会宣传和文化背景，但当你去到一个背景截然不同的地方的时候，试图先放下陈见，去观察和体会，可能会得到很多截然不同的感受，可以了解别人的需求，别人社会背景、文化教育下的理解、需要以及力量。

These "preconceived notions" are influenced by our education, social propaganda, and cultural background.

However, when we venture to a place with a vastly different context, it is valuable to set aside these

preconceived ideas and instead focus on observation and experience. Doing so may lead to entirely different

perspectives and a deeper understanding of others' needs, social backgrounds, and the impact of their cultural

education on their understanding, needs, and strengths.

“惘闻能走进人们锈蚀的心。”无论是演出时让观众流泪的《Lonely God》，还是饭桌上一时兴起的吉他弹唱《Rust

Inside》，音乐里乐观振奋的力量正来自成员日常生活中愿意体察他人的心。正如尼泊尔朋友所说，和惘闻虽然只相处了很短时间，“但感觉却像和老朋友和家人相处一样”，大家在喝酒、唱歌、跳舞中互相不设防地敞开心扉，放松地交流。很多素不相识的朋友愿意帮助乐队一起完成这次尼泊尔之行，正是因为音乐和爱让我们联系在一起。

"Wang Wen can reach people's rusted hearts." Whether it's their moving performance of "Lonely God" that brings

tears to the eyes, or the impromptu guitar strumming of "Rust Inside" during a spontaneous moment at the dinner

table, the music emanates an optimistic and uplifting power that stems from the band members' willingness to

empathize with others in their daily lives. As our Nepali friends have aptly expressed, even though our time

together was short, it felt as if we were with old friends and family. We shared drinks, sang, and danced,

opening our hearts, and engaging in relaxed and uninhibited conversations. The band's journey to Nepal was made

possible by the kindness and support of many newfound friends who were motivated by the connection fostered

"100,000 Whys" is a series of children's popular science books that originated from the Soviet Union in 1929.

After being introduced to China and passed down through several generations, it has become more than just a

collection of books. It has transformed into a cultural symbol, and even the phrase itself possesses a certain

enchantment, serving as a series of keys that unlock the gateway to fundamental knowledge from our early years

to the broader world. In discussing the purpose behind writing "100,000 Whys," the author, Mikhail Il'in,

“人之所以为人，需要了解一些基本的道理。”

"As human beings, we need to learn some fundamental truths."

于是专辑名字先于专辑音乐出现了。两年前某次音乐节演出后大家闲聊，乐队提出了接下来新专辑的名字要叫“十万个为什么”。也许是一种巧合，在2020年我们都觉得没有比《十万个为什么》这个名字更适合这张专辑了：充满了疑惑，充满了未知和无解，但希望你无论此刻身处怎样的环境，都能对自己生活的世界有着持续发问的好奇和思考，同时也不要失去积极面对新未来的能量和温度。

So, the album title "100,000 Whys" was chosen before the music was created. Two years ago, during a casual

conversation after a music festival performance, the band decided on this name for their upcoming album. It

turned out to be a fitting choice for the album in 2020, as it encompasses the theme of curiosity, uncertainty,

and unanswerable questions. Regardless of the current circumstances, we hope that you maintain a sense of

curiosity and reflection in your life, continuously questioning the world around you. Additionally, we encourage

you to adopt a positive outlook and approach the future with optimism and enthusiasm.

在寻找《十万个为什么》合作艺术家时，谢玉岗被阿根廷艺术家Manolo Gamboa Naon这幅郁郁葱葱的作品吸引了。吸引他的除了画面中颜色、图形带来与音乐的相符感之外，还有这幅作品的创作方式生成艺术（Generative

Art）。生成艺术通过编写代码由电脑来生成作品，创作者在写代码时也无法预料作品最终的模样。一种来自“未知”的吸引力，让Manolo的作品和《十万个为什么》的创作过程异曲同工。

While searching for artists to collaborate on "100,000 Whys," Xie Yugang was captivated by a vibrant artwork

created by Argentine artist Manolo Gamboa Naon. What drew his attention was not just the harmonious colors and

shapes that complemented the music, but also the artistic technique employed in its creation—Generative Art.

Generative Art involves using computer programming to generate artwork, and even the artist cannot anticipate

the final appearance when writing the code. The allure of the "unknown" in this process resonated with the

creative journey of "100,000 Whys."

从准备录制专辑的时刻起，“未知”某种程度上甚至成了这张专辑的一个参与者：前往俄罗斯圣彼得堡的录音行程因隔离取消，乐队留在家乡大连DIY录音，和远在欧洲的制作人Wouter沟通只能通过网络……而对于真正的创作者来说，正因为“不知道会发生什么”，倒不如好好享受创作的过程。

From the moment we started preparing to record the album, "the unknown" became a participant in the album's creation process. Our planned recording trip to St. Petersburg, Russia was cancelled due to quarantine, so we had to stay in our hometown of Dalian and record the album ourselves. Communication with our producer Wouter in Europe was only conducted through remote communications. But as true creators, we have learned to embrace the uncertainty and enjoy the creative process.

出于对于优美旋律的执念，《十万个为什么》依然延续了上张专辑《看不见的城市》里的温暖明亮。另外也探索了在同一和声背景下、不同旋律相互触发和交织的更多可能性。声音的丰富层次感和情感表达，一直是惘闻音乐中吸引人去仔细聆听的特质，而在《十万个为什么》中，这样的特质被继续放大。这是一张好听也耐听的专辑，希望在你用耳朵捕捉每个声音细节和每段旋律时，可以获得细腻带来的力量和触动。
