沃尔特和洛尔德兄弟来自比利时的根特，他们也是惘闻好多张唱片的制作人。我们第一次见面是2014年春天的广州,

那是他们兄弟俩当时的乐队Toman第一次中国的巡演。像是好久没见的老朋友一般，我们三个站在大排档的边上举着珠江啤酒，吹着牛逼。像所有酒后肝胆相照的哥们一样，我说你们来制作惘闻的下一张专辑怎么样，他们当时的态度像极了东北人的：那是必须的。

Wouter and Lode, hailing from Ghent, Belgium, are the producers behind many of Wang Wen's albums. Our initial

encounter occurred in the spring of 2014 in Guangzhou when their band, Toman, embarked on its first tour of

China. It felt like a reunion with long-lost friends as we stood beside a local street food stall, hoisting

Zhujiang beers and sharing stories. In the convivial atmosphere of camaraderie and with the confidence that

often accompanies such moments, I suggested, "How about you guys produce Wang Wen's next album?" Their response

was resolute, akin to the unwavering spirit of Northeastern Chinese: "It's a must."

在2016年1月那个我印象中经历过大连最冷的冬季的某天，沃尔特和洛尔德兄弟抵达了大连周水子机场，在去我家的路上，他们和我讲述着在首都机场转机来大连的经历：一个中国人突然凑过来说，我帮你拿箱子吧。正在沃尔特愣神和犹豫之际，那个人已经拖着箱子往前走了。等沃尔特回过神来追过去拿回自己的箱子，回头却不见了洛尔德，于是机场大厅里充满了“洛尔德，你在哪”的喊声。当然洛尔德只是去了厕所。

Fast forward to a frosty day in January 2016, which I still recall as one of Dalian's chilliest winters. Wouter

and Lode landed at Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport. As we embarked on our journey to my home, they

narrated their experience transferring to Beijing Capital International Airport to reach Dalian. At one point, a

random Chinese passerby extended an unexpected act of kindness by offering to carry their luggage. In a brief

moment of bewilderment and hesitation, Wouter watched the stranger haul their suitcase away. When Wouter

晚上在我家，我们愉快地喝着我特别给他们准备的十多种不同的比利时啤酒，一边听着大家各自喜欢的音乐。我问他们俩，制作这张唱片有什么特别的想法吗？“没有，相信我们的耳朵，我们两个有四只耳朵。“

In the evening at my home, we joyfully indulged in more than ten different varieties of Belgian beer I had

specially prepared for them while listening to our favorite music. I asked them if they had any unique ideas for

producing this album. They replied, "No, we trust our ears. Between the two of us, we have four of them."

第二天我们开车去录音棚的途中，就在我们放着David Bowie的那张《Black Star》来消解宿醉后都不想说话的尴尬的时候，一起来看我们录音的好朋友Jef在手机上刷到了David

Bowie去世的消息，于是大家进入了更深的沉默。

On our way to the recording studio the following day, we played David Bowie's "Black Star" to dispel the awkward

silence that lingers when no one wants to speak after a night of drinking. While we were listening, our good

friend and recording collaborator, Jef, read the news on his phone that David Bowie had passed away. This news

cast a deeper silence upon all of us.

沃尔特和洛尔德兄弟大概是我见过工作效率最高的制作人了，两人分工明确，沃尔特负责录音音色以及编曲细节的修改，洛尔德负责已经录制完成音轨的编辑，他本身也是一位优秀的鼓手，所以会在节奏上给予很多建设性的修改意见。每当沃尔特感觉耳朵开始疲劳的时候他会让洛尔德继续接手录音工作，他一个人去零下18度的室外溜达半小时回来再重新接手。对我个人来说，这张专辑算是惘闻最沉重的一张唱片，这或许也是源于那个最凛冽的冬季，室外的寒风从来没有那么大声的咆哮过。最后一天晚上录音结束往家走的时候，我已经喝醉了，沃尔特第一次在中国开车，他很开心，说录音十天每天住旅馆，今天终于可以在家里住了。于是瞬间我就想到了Sweet

Home, Go!这个专辑的译名。

Wouter and Lode are the most efficient producers I've ever worked with. They have clearly defined roles: Wouter

handles recording sound quality and detailed arrangement adjustments, while Lode edits the already recorded

tracks. Lode is also an excellent drummer, so he provides constructive suggestions for rhythm. Whenever Wouter

feels his ears are getting fatigued, he lets Lode take over the recording work and goes outside for a half-hour

walk in the -18°C weather before returning to continue. For me, this album is perhaps the heaviest among all of

Wang Wen's records, and this might be due to the harshness of that winter, during which the outdoor winds had

never roared so loudly. On the last night, when the recording ended and we were heading home, I was already

drunk. It was Wouter's first time driving in China, and he was quite thrilled. He said that after ten days of

living in hotels for recording, he was finally going to stay home today. At that moment, I considered naming

this album "Sweet Home, Go!"

Their response was resolute, akin to the unwavering spirit of Northeastern Chinese:

No, we trust our ears. Between the two of us, we have four of them.

2016年1月初，差不多是一年中最冷的时候，惘闻在大连完成了乐队第九张唱片的录制。与以往不同，我们第一次找来了Wouter和Lode兄弟俩作为唱片的制作人。这张唱片总共收录了6首长曲和1首录自于废弃厂房中的人声作品，它们都是在过去的三年中创作的，最终的录音在原始创作的基础上改动了不少，乐队希望在一个作品中表述更多的内容和情绪，做更多的线索和矛盾冲突，而制作人则希望把一切脉络梳理的更清晰，双方的这种拉扯达到了最终的某种平衡结果。对惘闻而言，它是我们认知和探索自身和外在世界的又一次尝试。

Early January 2016, during the coldest time of the year, Wang Wen completed the 9th studio album in Dalian, China. What was different about this album is that it was the first time we got Wouter and Lode to produce a record for us. For this album we recorded 6 long songs and an a cappella track recorded in an abandoned factory.All these songs were created within the last 3 years, but went through the ringer of change during the recording process. During recording an album, a band wants their music to be full of expression and feeling and to have the freedom to explore new threads, contradictions and conflicts. Producers on the other hand are looking to make the sequence of music more clear. In the end, the two sides of the spectrum strike a balance and complement each other. To Wang Wen, this was another experience in our journey to further understand and explore ourselves and the outside world.

过去的几年，感觉时间轴绷上了弹簧，加速度使人充满了莫名的兴奋和窒息感。才刚习惯的十年一代的讲法也已经过时，眼前的生活如速度失控的幻灯片般闪烁变幻。移动网络似乎把人与人拉得很近，其实是改变了我们的存在方式，让今天的“关系”成为一堆堆坚硬的数据模块,

不灭不净，无法交融，你甚至不能选择不参与其中，随之深深坠入时空堆积过载又不断撕裂的缝隙中。

Over the last few years, it feels like time had been spinning out of control. As time speeds by it makes people

feel an indescribable excitement but also a feeling of suffocation. Just as we become used to the ways of today,

things change in a flash. The Internet has seemingly brought people closer together. Actually it's changed our

existence by taking our "relationships" and turning them into rigid blocks of data, unable to blend into each

other and therefore plunging us into the many deep cracks of space and time.

越过岁月鸿沟就是Sweet Home,

Go了？是的，不过是另一个岁月鸿沟，英语的。音乐总是或轻或重，但它从来不是精神糖果或者情绪解药，但我总是幻想着它那强大的气流能让时间暂停，把你我从冰冷的深渊喷到九霄云外，然后摔到粉身碎骨。

Is Sweet Home, Go about surpassing the gulf of time? Yes, but a different kind of gulf. English. Music is

always light and heavy, but it should never just be a quick fix of energy or a mood enhancer. I'm always

imagining, what if the powerful flow of music could stop time and shoot us us out of this cold abyss into

the heavenly skies above, then drop us to our deaths.

《岁月鸿沟》除了在音乐上变得更宏大厚重外，不能忽视的另一个亮点就是整套视觉设计的艺术作品选择和内在传达。封面出自艺术家李维伊的《家庭相册二》系列作品。家庭相册项目二最初是一个在线的装置作品

家庭相册中所有的集体照片是这个项目的出发点。在这其中我们能看到一种纪念式的, 企图壮大声势般的形式。同样，让我不妨跟随这种形式并且强化它。这些照片被全部制作成无缝拼接图片，这是一种在制作网页时常用的技术。通过简单的html代码，每一张照片中的人群变成了无边无际地向四方延伸的人海。

The album “Sweet Home, Go!”, in addition to its amplified and profound music, features another noteworthy aspect: its artistic choices and underlying messages conveyed through visual design. The album cover is derived from artist Li Weiyi's "Family Album II" series. "Family Album II" was initially conceived as an online installation

. The foundation of this project lies in group photographs from family albums. The work exudes a commemorative quality, seemingly striving to magnify its presence. In keeping with this essence, I wholeheartedly embrace and enhance this form. These photos have been meticulously transformed into seamless composite images, a technique frequently employed in web development. Through basic HTML code, the subjects in each photograph transform into a boundless sea of people extending in all directions.

幼儿园、中学、大学、父母辈集体照，四个不同时期的小人通过特别的技术手段密密麻麻展现在大家的视野当中，这种中国式的“集体记忆”如同坚硬的数据模块一样成为了一代人的特殊集体体会，魔幻而真实的出现。专辑总共四套不同的封面，不同时代的“集体照”无边无际地蔓延，远看似乎变成了一片巨大的花纹，一种纪念式的集体主义。无限蔓延的悲壮情绪，抹杀个性和自我思考。伴随着音乐，惘闻想将听者带入更多的思考当中，现场的这种压迫感也通过音墙淋漓精致。

Kindergarten, middle school, university, and parental generation group photographs all come together through specialized techniques to populate our field of vision densely. This Chinese-style "collective memory" mirrors a distinctive communal experience for a generation – a blend of magic and reality. It assumes the form of rigid data modules. The album boasts four distinct covers adorned with endlessly extending "group photographs" from different eras. From a distance, these images appear to merge into a massive pattern – a commemorative manifestation of collectivism. This infinitely expanding sense of tragedy blurs individuality and self-reflection. Alongside the music, Wang Wen aspires to immerse listeners in profound contemplation, and this sense of oppression during live performances is eloquently conveyed through the wall of sound.

2016年6月11日在巡演香港站的专场中，我们第一次选择用更宏大、更适合乐队的7人大编编配，并且也选择了在更大的场地——九龙国际会展中心的Music Zone中举办。这次演出Space Circle邀请Geek Shoot

Jack拍摄团队和我们一起飞抵香港，全程记录下香港的演出现场。而《红墙黑墙》是惘闻第一次将香港的演出现场呈现给大家。

On 11 June 2016, we made a pivotal decision during the Hong Kong leg of the national tour. For the first time,

we opted for a grander, more befitting seven-piece orchestration for the band. Additionally, we selected a

larger venue – the Music Zone at the Kowloon International Exhibition Center. For this momentous performance,

Space Circle invited the Geek Shoot Jack film team to accompany us to Hong Kong to document the live performance

comprehensively. "Red Wall and Black Wall" encapsulates Wang Wen's debut presentation of a live performance in
